Mowing Schedule and Info

*Mowing assignments for 2010 updated 4/17/2010
Mowers will be serviced for 2010 - filters and oil change - by Paul and Jeff. Also pumped up tires to recommended pressure. (work party will be formed soon).

*We now have a sprayer for applying weed killer (Roundup) to the ditches.  It is in the mower shed. We will also apply weed killer around the shed and hangars if necessary.

*Bug spray on the shelf in the mower shed.

Mowing Teams - Reminders

PLEASE, AT THE FIRST SIGN OF BELT SLIPPING (YOU'LL HEAR IT SQUEALING), STOP AND CHECK THE BELT TENSION. IF YOU CAN'T RESOLVE THE PROBLEM STOP USING THAT MOWER AND NOTIFY PAUL SALCH OR BOB PLOURDE. YOU MAY SAVE A $24 BELT and a lot of labor.

*When mowing, always blow clippings away from the buildings !!
*Please fill mower gas tank and check oil level before and after mowing.
*Loosen the air vent in the gasoline containers when putting them in the shed, especially in the hot weather. (They really swell up)
*Kindly fill the empty gasoline containers for the next team.
*Watch out for wasps under the work benches when you move them to mow underneath!!
*Please remember to check the oil level before mowing. Please do not overfill. Overfilling can be harmful.
