Just a note to let you know that Peter Ingwerson and Dave Pretty will be leaving the club soon. I believe they will be moving to Florida. To account for that, I have updated the mowing schedule, so please check it because we have been moved up a week or so to take up the slack. Good Luck Peter and Dave!

Here is the results of our annual meeting!

Annual Club meeting on March 21, 2009 at 12 Noon at the flying field. Topics discussed:
Discussion regarding pilots flying from the pit area vs the flight line. Consideration was proposed to bring station blocks back as they are now on the edge of the runway as opposed to the flight line. The discussion was tabled for further discussion.
The last web site update was May 25, 2008, John Radziewski needs help maintaining the site. Members are asked to send him pictures and e mails so that he may post them onto the site. Jerry Selkowitz is researching a website that may be easier to maintain. We will get back with you as information becomes available.
Mowing schedule: Jeff Martin is developing the schedule for 2009. Look for the 2009 schedule on the website and should be posted soon. Check it periodically so that you know when you are scheduled and REMEMBER- IF YOU CAN NOT MOW, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND A REPLACEMENT.
Due to declining participation over the years, a motion was made to eliminate the picnic. The decision was agreed upon to eliminate the picnic.
Treasury report was read by Jerry Selkowitz and a motion was made to keep dues at the current rate. An addition to the budget was made for a gift for W.C. Jerry Selkowitz will be purchasing W.C. a new computer monitor.
Club officer elections were discussed and the motion was made and it was agreed to maintain the current officers.
New business: Motion was made to return parking back to the original area. Please do not park in the area directly behind the field.
Those in attendance: Salch, DeVore, Ingwersen, Kiernan, LeFevre, Martin, Moore, Palonis, Plourde, Radziewski, Selkowitz, Bryce, Simmons (think that is everyone, sorry if we missed it).

Yes, I know it has been a long time between entries but unfortunately we are a small club and I haven't been flyin' much lately.

Today, we had our annual picnic and we had a beautiful day for flyin and eatin. Thanks to Paul and Anna for the hard work to buy the food and arrange all the details. Thanks to Jeff Martin for his grill and wonderful cookin' and thanks to all who showed.

Jeff's spouse Nona and I took some pics so we can all enjoy!

Well we finally got a great fly day! Unfortunately for me it ended up in tragedy. My Kaos became Kaos as you will see in the pic. It was a white cloudy day and it was hard to see the status of the plane and I lost it in the woods.

We also had a good crowd flyin. Jim, Bob, Jerry, Wayne, Jeff & (his wife too!) Bill and along came frank. I took some pics for you to enjoy! Jerry and Wayne showed us some great electrics Flyin!

Our club had it's annual meeting today in preparation for the new flying season.

Elections were taken and results were Paul Satch and Bob Pleurde were retained as president and vice present for 2008. Jerry Selkowitz was voted in to be our new Secretary -Treasure. We all thank Jim Keirnan for doing a wonderful job of administering the financial and secretary duties for almost 10 years.

A new mowing schedule is put in place with the first cut on March 23. We start with the same teams we had in 2007. Brett Otto will be an alternate for replacement duty. Call him for availablity. A work party will be formed by Paul soon to check over the mowers, fill in bad spots in the field and any other maintenance necessary. Please help if you can. Lets keep em flyin'!
